feeling like a londoner

there are some days that all the problems just seem to be far in the background. no need to worry about not having a job or having to find a new flat, just happy to be in london. yesterday we went to the thames festival, and it was one of those days. we just walked all along the river, and saw some places that we had never seen before. there were stalls selling food and little crafty things from around the world, and all kinds of street performers. we basically ate our way along the river. walked all the way from the waterloo bridge to the tower bridge, and then back. there was a parade in the evening and then fireworks. it was just so nice and the perfect london day. i really felt happy and proud to live here. now if only that feeling will last through the week!
